Anu Radha Verma

Anu Radha Verma has lived, worked, studied, played, struggled and agitated in both Canada and India. Her work has cut across sectors and places, but is always focused on the intersections of social justice, community and creativity. She has been focused on the suburbs as a place of brilliance and social change—having organized various queer and trans, racialized community spaces locally. Anu Radha is a community-based consultant, an independent curator and an organizer with QTBIPOC sauga (a grassroots gathering of queer and trans BIPOC folks from across Peel). She is a queer, diasporic, sometimes-femme, a survivor, and someone who lives with mental health struggles.
