The 10th annual Guelph Lecture—On Being Canadian was held on November 9, 2012. The keynote speaker, Dr. Henry Mintzberg, proposes “communityship” as a way to move beyond the unequal distribution of power and economics (what he calls the “unholy alliance of economic dogma and corporate entitlement”) to collective action. His complete lecture is available to watch in our highlights section, as is Eleanor Wachtel‘s literary presentation. Our musical performance for 2012 was multiple award winning composer and musician Sarah Neufeld.
